Garwood Mystery

Just finished reading Julie Garwood's Slow Burn. In the beginning you could tell that she was trying to make it fun but by the middle she'd given it up to the story. It was a good read even after the mood change.

Slow Burn was about a woman, a man, love, an inheritance, and murder attempts.

Almost having the villians pegged from the start then finding I was questioning myself. By the end I was happily surprised to be not completely right. And with all good mysterys after thinking over all the facts I'd read I had to admit that it made sense.

I just got done reading Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult. Very good book, I really enjoyed it. There are several points of view. One of the main character is a Catholic priest that starts to question what he was feed in seminary. It was a page turner from the beginning. I think you need to be grounded in your faith or you may question what you believe as well. After reading I started thinking about what I would do if I were put in the position of the characters of this book. I'm going to be checking out another book by Jodi Picoult as soon as I can get back to the library.
